Saturday is all about Fido at the Hinsdale Community Pool. Families can’t swim, but your pets are invited to enjoy a dip while their humans chow down on hot dogs and refreshments. Admission is $5/dog.
The Deer Park Art Show is taking place at the Town Center from 10am-5pm on Saturday and 11am-5pm on Sunday. Families will enjoy works from dozens of artists, live music and local food.
The West End Arts Festival is Saturday and Sunday, with a focus on culinary arts, wine tasting, the work of 60+ artists, live jazz and kids attractions. There’s also a carnival at St. Cletus Catholic Church Thursday-Sunday.
Celebrate the life of Frida Kahlo and Mexican culture during Frida Fest from 12pm-9pm on Sunday. The event is free, and includes live music, cultural performances, Mexican fare and unique artwork.
Start fall off on the right foot with Deerfield’s free Annual Fall Festival from 12pm-4pm on Sunday. There’s lots for families to enjoy, including a petting zoo, car show, games, live music and historic tours.
The Kohl Children’s Museum’s Fall Family Festival is from 9am-11:30am on Sunday. Kids will love train rides, a petting farm, wagon rides, an apple cider press, exotic animals and more.
