More than 200 artists and crafters will be displaying their work at the Labor Day Art Show from 7pm-9pm on Sunday and 12pm-7pm from Monday-Wednesday.
Watch a free movie at the National Harbor from 7pm-11:59pm on Thursday. Chairs and blankets are welcome, and this week’s film is “The Lion King.”

The Herndon Labor Day Festival is 11am-5pm on Monday. There will be live music, a craft fair, food vendors and lawn games for the whole family. Children 12 and under are free.
The Greenbelt Labor Day Festival is Friday-Monday and features three days of rides, games, live entertainment, art vendors and a parade on Labor Day.
Kensington is hosting a Labor Day parade and festival from 9am-2pm on Monday, with the parade at 10am. Families will enjoy food trucks, kids activities, wine and beer and more.
The Silver Spring Library’s Lego Weekend Play session is from 12:30pm-5:30pm on Saturday and 1pm-4:30pm on Sunday. It’s free.
Celebrate Labor Day at Paradise Springs Winery with BBQ, local beer and live music from 5pm-9pm on Friday and 2pm-6pm on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
The Ayr Hill Garden Club’s fall harvest celebration is 1pm-4pm on Sunday. Kids ages 7-14 can help with the harvest and enjoy a picnic.
