HEADING TO WESTCHESTER?
Kids of all ages will LOVE the Nyack Famous Street Fair, taking place downtown from 10am-3pm on Sunday. Enjoy a kid’s zone with inflatables, live music, incredible food and tons of family fun.
The Chappaqua Library and Westchester Symphony Orchestra are presenting a special performance featuring music from Rossini, Bach and Beethoven Saturday from 2pm-3:30pm.
Create your own galaxy-themed snow globes at the Rye Library on Thursday from 6pm-7pm. The event is free, but pre-registration is required. If you’re busy this weekend but still want to spend some time in Rye ASAP, swing by Tuesdays for a free twilight concert at Rye Town Park.
Enjoy the timeless music of The Beatles during this family-friendly concert on Saturday at The Capitol Theater in Port Chester. The doors open at 11am and tickets are $15 in advance.
Remove invasive aquatic plants and teach your kids the value of stewardship Friday from 10am-1pm at Wampus Pond Park. Snacks will be provided.
Bedford’s beloved Blues & BBQ festival returns Sunday from 4pm-8pm at Memorial Park. Tickets are $30 for adults, $10 for kids under 12.
The Larchmont Farmers Market is Saturday from 8:30am-1pm on the Metro-North parking deck.
Bring budding artists to The Bott Shoppe in Mamaroneck for a kids’ drawing class Saturday from 1pm-2:30pm. This is the perfect opportunity for kids to practice their sketching and meet some locals.
White Plains’ free summer concert series begins Thursday with Sammy Rae and The Friends from 6:30pm-8:30pm at 5 City Place.
Food Truck Friday is happening at Pascone Park, Friday starting at 5pm. Grab your blankets and lawn chairs and come out for a twilight dinner, followed by a free concert from “Almost Country.”
Everclear, Soul Asylum and other artists will be in Pleasantville for the town’s Music Festival on Saturday. Children under 12 are free!
Experience the stunning beauty of Briarcliff Manor’s countryside Saturday with a guided walk through the Brinton Brook Sanctuary at 9am.
HEADING TO LONG ISLAND?

Watch a free movie overlooking the bay at Sunset Park, Saturday at 8:30pm. Sunday, spend the day having fun in the sun at North Hempstead Beach Park and hang out for a free concert at 1pm.
The Morgan Park Summer Music Festival continues Sunday, with a free performance from Orchestra Long Island at 7:30pm.
Kids 5 and up will LOVE learning about the rainforest during this special Nature Sundays event at the Planting Fields Foundation. The event is free, with an $8 parking fee.

Pick-your-own fruit and enjoy live music, mazes and other kids activities this weekend at Alstede Farms in nearby Chester.
Crafty kids will have a great time decorating their own Kid Made Modern trading cards at Indigo in Short Hills on Saturday at 11am.
Celebrate Christmas in July during the Westfield Winter Wonderland on Sunday from 10:30am-12:30pm. The festivities take place on Quimby Street and includes crafts and activities for the whole family.
The Montclair Farmer’s Market is Saturday from 8am-2pm. One of the busiest markets in the region, this event is known for its local produce picked within 24 hours and artisanal cheese and meats.
Free tonight? Come enjoy a quiet evening and free showing of “Wonder Park” on the rooftop of the Turtle Back Zoo Parking deck. On Friday, check out a free concert at Brookdale Park at 7:30pm featuring the “On the Radio” Donna Summer Tribute band.

Join the Westport Historical Society Saturday at 10am for live historical demonstrations reenacting the burning of Connecticut towns during the War for Independence.
