Learn about dinosaurs at the Chevy Chase Library from 10:30am-11:30am on Saturday. It’s ideal for children 6-12 that want to learn about fossils, dig for them and try STEM activities.
Arlington, VA
Marymount University’s Fall Festival is 1:30pm-7pm on Saturday. Help celebrate this year’s theme “For the Love of Others” through crafts, games, music, food trucks and family fun.
Alexandria, VA
Visit one of the nation’s oldest farmers’ markets, the Old Town Farmers’ Market in Alexandria, beginning at 7am on Saturday. It’s a great way to shop for local produce and experience the town’s historic past.
Takoma Park, MD
Magician Jason Goldberg is coming to Takoma Park Silver Spring Campus from 7pm-10pm on Saturday to perform magic inspired by the Earth’s oceans. It’s free.

Get a head start on your holiday shopping at the Danish Christmas Bazaar from 11am-3pm on Saturday. The following day, get tickets to see “Seussical” at Rockville Musical Theatre at 2pm. Tickets are $25.

The EU’s Kids Euro Festival is coming to Washington, D.C., featuring cultural shows representing each nation throughout the weekend. Watch “Early Man” at the AFI Silver Theatre from 11am-12:30pm on Saturday.
