Get another wear out of your kids’ Halloween costumes! Head to Hinsdale Middle’s Fall Family Fest—in costume, of course—for tons of fall fun. The event kicks off at 11am on Saturday and runs until 2pm.
Have a not-too-spooky evening at Hubbard Woods Park on Friday from 4pm-6pm. The park will be turned into a pumpkin patch complete with pumpkin painting, costume contests, inflatables, games and more. Admission is $10 for non-residents—come in costume!
Take little wildlife lovers to CROCtoberfest at the Wildlife Discovery Center from 10am-4pm on Sunday. This week’s theme is Morelet’s & The Philippine Crocodile.
Come to Naperville for a Halloween party from 2pm-4pm on Sunday. Kids can sing and dance with a witch, get spooky Halloween face painting and enjoy tons of photo ops, games and seasonal crafts. Tickets are $12 per child. Adults are free.
The Polkaholics are hosting a live concert at Plaza del Lago from 11:30am-1pm on Saturday. Bring blankets or chairs—and bring your appetite. Local restaurants will be serving food on-site.
Visit the Chicago Botanic Garden’s Night of 1,000 Jack-o’-Lanterns exhibit from 6:30pm-10:30pm Wednesday through Sunday. There will be 1,000+ amazingly carved pumpkins on display. Tickets are $16 for adults and $13 for kids ages 3-12.
Play a round of Halloween mini golf at the Golf Learning Center from 8am-7pm Thursday through Sunday. Also on Sunday, Wayne Thomas Elementary is hosting its Family Bash featuring inflatables, carnival games and awesome local food at 3pm.
Lake Ellyn Park comes to life Sunday during the Pumpkin Flotilla Fest. Families can enter their carved pumpkins in the flotilla and enjoy canoe rides, train rides, inflatables and other attractions.
Check out the Glenview fall festival from 11am-3pm on Saturday at Carillon Square. Come out to enjoy a bounce house, kids zone, DJ and kids activities.
