Burlingame
Go on a family scavenger hunt and explore Burlingame in the process from 11am-5pm on Friday or Saturday or from 1pm-5pm on Sunday. Admission is $8. Apple is also hosting a Coding Lab for Kids from 1:30pm-2:30pm on Sunday.
San Carlos
San Carlos is hosting a free family scavenger hunt at 10am on Sunday. Meet at Mustang Hall, compete for prizes and get to know the city of San Carlos.
San Mateo
Celebrate Dia De Los Muertos at Skylawn Memorial Park Saturday or Sunday beginning at 10am. There will be a live mariachi band, themed kids’ crafts, local food vendors, a craft fair and more.
San Rafael
San Rafael’s Dia De Los Muertos festival is 3pm-9pm on Saturday, featuring a community procession, cultural performances, dancing, sugar skull decorating and more. Free shuttle service offered from several areas around town.
Oakland
Check out Fruitvale Village in Oakland’s Dia de los Muertos Festival from 10am-5pm on Saturday, drawing 100K+ people for live music, kids games, rides, Latin American art vendors and other festivities.
Alameda
The Crab Cove Visitor Center is hosting Songs and Stories by the Shore at 10:30am on Saturday. It’s free, and features interactive stories and songs about nature and wildlife.
Pleasanton
There’s a Hawaiian festival at the Alameda County Fairgrounds from 3pm-10pm on Friday and 10am-6pm on Saturday and Sunday. Kids will love learning about Hawaiian culture through food, dance, arts and crafts and competitions. Get tickets.
