Hinsdale
Stop by Tuthill Family Pet Rescue’s Oktoberfest from 6pm-10pm on Saturday. Not only are four-legged guests welcome, but there will be tons of fun activities for everyone including live music, games, a biergarten and more. All proceeds benefit the pet rescue.
Winnetka
Winnetka’s Fall Fest is Saturday from 3:30pm-6:30pm. There will be emergency response vehicles kids can explore plus a pumpkin roll, inflatables, face painting and plenty of local eats.
La Grange
St. Francis Xavier’s Oktoberfest is Saturday from 6:30pm-10:30pm. Enjoy German-inspired activities, dancing, live music and, of course, plenty of beer and food.
Highland Park
Camp out on the beach at Heller Nature Center beginning at Saturday at 5pm. There will be a nature hike, campfire, stargazing, s’mores and a family scavenger hunt. NOTE: This event has been moved from Rosewood Beach, but the hours and schedule will remain the same.
Glen Ellyn
Stacy’s Tavern Museum is hosting Tavern Day Sunday from 1pm-4:30pm. Visit with live farm animals, enjoy hands-on crafts, make your own candles and participate in lots of cool seasonal activities.
Lincolnshire
Check out Didier Farms’ Pumpkinfest Saturday and Sunday. Here, you’ll find everything from silly string games to pumpkin picking to loads of kids activities and tons of yummy fall eats.
Deerfield
Deerfield’s Harvest Fest is happening all day Saturday. Start by hitting up the farmers market beginning at 7:30am and wrapping at 12:30pm. Then, come back at 5:30pm for Deerfield’s Annual Bags Tournament, live music from The Wayouts and Modern Day Romeos and food and drinks from City Barbecue, Naf Naf Grill, Taco Vida and Nothing Bundt Cakes.
Northbrook
Watch area artists at work and enjoy live music during the Plein Air Painting Festival on Sunday.
Glenview
Glenview Bloktoberfest is Saturday from 11am-10:30pm. There will be music all day, local food, balloon artists and more.
