The Needham Farmers Market is 12pm-4pm on Sunday. Visit the Needham Town Common for local produce, live music and artisanal crafts.


There’s a Kite Flying Festival from 12pm-6pm on Sunday at Nara Park in Acton.


Visit Land’s Sake Farm on Saturday from 11am-1pm to interact with animals and learn about farming during its free open farmyard event. There’s something for children of all ages.


There’s an ice cream festival at Bird Park on Sunday from 4pm-7pm. It’s free and includes a DJ, games, bubbles and lots and lots of yummy ice cream.


The Cohasset Farmers Market is 2pm-6pm on Thursday. Shop the freshest local produce, meats, cheeses, wines and more.


Come to Harry Potter Trivia at the Winchester Public Library from 2pm-6pm on Saturday. Costumes are welcome!


Check out a free concert featuring the Metropolitan Wind Symphony at Hastings Park on Thursday from 7:30pm-8:30pm. Don’t forget a blanket or chairs and a picnic.


Join the Blue Suede Boppers for a free concert at the Newton Centre Green on Sunday from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Blankets and chairs are welcome.


The Melrose Music Festival is 2pm-7pm on Saturday at 360 Lynn Fells Parkway.


Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Woodstock with Reading on the town common from 6:30pm-8pm on Sunday. Live musicians will be performing songs from the festival.
