Winnetka
Enjoy the best of both worlds—Halloween and ice skating—during the Winnetka Ice Arena’s Halloween Party from 1:40pm-2:55pm on Saturday. Guests are invited to wear costumes and bring a dry food donation for free admission. Skate rentals are $4.
Barrington
Go on a Halloween adventure with the TesserAct Theatre Ensemble at 11am on Saturday. Tickets are $10, and families are encouraged to wear their costumes and bring a blanket.
Lake Forest
Kick off Halloween week with a balloon show at the Lake Forest Library from 2pm-2:45pm on Saturday. Register here.
Naperville
The DuPage Children’s Museum’s Pumpkin Palooza is 9am-4:30pm on Saturday. Come in costume and ready to have tons of Halloween-themed fun. Or, go trick-or-treating around downtown Naperville on Sunday from 10am-12pm. There will be free trolley rides and candy and non-candy surprises.

Wilmette’s Linden Square Pumpkin Walk is 11am-2pm on Saturday, featuring a petting zoo, balloon animals, games, food and trick-or-treating at local businesses. Costumes are welcome.
Glencoe
There’s no better way to celebrate fall than sitting by a campfire listening to spooky stories. Do just that at the Little House of Glencoe at 7pm on Saturday. Tickets are $25; space is limited.
Highland Park
Enjoy spooky ice skating in Highland Park from 1pm-2pm on Saturday. Want free admission? Don’t forget your costume.
Glen Ellyn
Glen Ellyn’s Halloween FEST and Paradeis this Saturday. The fun starts with s parade at 9:45am followed by trick-or-treating, entertainment and crafts until 1pm.
Lincolnshire
Grab your costumes and head to Lincolnshire’s Boo Bash for tons of Halloween fun from 5pm-8pm on Friday. There will be hayrides, a haunted trail, good, a DJ, face painting and other attractions.
Deerfield
Get ready for Deerfield’s Halloween Hoopla from 3pm-6pm on Friday and Saturday, featuring inflatables, hayrides and more. Admission is $5 for children ages 2+.
