Newton
Visit the Harvest Fair from 10am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday to decorate pumpkins, explore local crafters and artists fair and enjoy local cuisine with live music. There will be carnival rides on Saturday and a kiddie section on Sunday.
Natick
The Natick Community Organic Farm is hosting a free tour on Sunday from 2:30pm-3:30pm. Kids can learn about and visit with farm animals, then go on a guided tour of the farm.
Milton
Pumpkin Fest is 10am-5pm on Saturday—and it’s a popular one! About 2,000 visitors descend on the festival for all things pumpkin—pumpkin mini golf, pumpkin carving, pumpkin games, a pumpkin-themed scavenger hunt and more.
Westwood
Visit St. John’s Nursery School’s PumpkinFest from 10am-2pm on Saturday. It’s a great chance to see the school while enjoying a petting zoo, face painting, inflatables, games and snacks.
Sudbury
Don’t miss the Halloween party at Loring Elementary School happening from 3pm-4pm on Sunday. Bring your costume and come prepared for face painting, games, live music and loads of Halloween fun. Admission is $10.
Concord
Walden Woods is hosting a Thoreau-inspired family fun day on Saturday from 10am-2pm. There will be fall activities for kids plus pumpkin-decorating, fresh apple cider and other attractions.
Hingham
Raise money for cancer and have fun as a family during the 6th Annual Emily Fahey 5K on Saturday. The family-friendly 5K starts at 8am and post-run activities including music and refreshments go through 1pm.
Lexington
Visit Cary Library for storytime for kids 5 and under. Stories start at 9:30am and run for about one hour. Immediately after, there will be a building session for kids ages 2-8.
Arlington
Steve Songs from PBS Kids is putting on a kids’ concert at 10:30am on Saturday. Admission is $12 for adults and $10 for kids.
Marblehead
Check out the Pumpkin Decorating Festival from 12:30pm-2:30pm on Sunday. Swing by, decorate pumpkins, dance to live music, get your face painted and enjoy other family-friendly activities. Admission is $15 per child and includes all activities.
