Morrison

Residents of this tiny town in the foothills just west of Denver can take advantage of some of Colorado’s most popular attractions right in their own backyard. Red Rocks Park and Ampitheatre, a stunning open-air concert venue carved from red sandstone outcroppings, is in Morrison along with Dinosaur Ridge, where kiddos and adults can spot dinosaur tracks and explore the Morrison Fossil Area. Most of the housing stock is older, though there are some new developments sprouting up around town.
