With the bulk of the workforce going remote—and families looking to get out of major cities on the heels of COVID-19 shutdowns— many people are considering the suburbs. Whether they wanted to movesome dayor never considered the ‘burbs, the appeal is undeniable.
“People are scared, and it’s not something that is going to be swept under the rug,” Suburban Jungle Founder & President Alison Bernstein tells CNN. “And I think people are going to really re-evaluate the quality of life that they’re looking for. So I think we’re going to see a big migration into lifestyle-rich cities like Nashville, Austin, South Florida.”
