The Metropolitan Waterworks Museum’s Waterfest is Saturday at 11am. Come out to learn about water quality and conservation through face painting, games, crafts and demos.
Grab a Take-a-Walk backpack from Gore Place and explore its themed landscapes from 12pm-3pm on Saturday for $5 per hour. Each backpack contains unique items to explore the Nature Playscape, Summer STEAM and other kid-friendly areas.
The Massachusetts Horticultural Society’s Arts on the Green art-walk and live music event is from 5pm-7pm on Thursday.
Visit Lookout Farm any time this weekend for lots of family fun, and don’t miss Curious George Story Time at 12pm, 1pm and 2pm on Saturday or Sunday.
There’s a pig roast at the SKYBOKX 109 Sports Bar from 6pm-10pm. Kids are welcome, and will also enjoy live music.
Combine the best of both worlds—a family-friendly hike and beer tasting during the Family & Friends Sunset Brew Hike on Saturday from 6:30pm-8:30pm. The next day, participate in a family hike at 11am.
