While is might technically be fall, we’re all about soaking in those last few warm weekends—including this one. Take full advantage of the weather, hit up these family-friendly events and activities this weekend and see what life could be like in the Boston ‘burbs.

Wellesley

Visit Weezie’s Garden for Children Friday through Sunday from 11am-11:30am for hands-on kids’ activities. Admission is required.

 


Dedham

There’s a fall festival at the Fairbanks House at 12pm on Sunday. Enjoy seasonal drinks, a petting zoo, historic cooking demos and more.

 


Sudbury

Meadow Walk’s Fall Fest is Saturday from 12pm-4pm, featuring pumpkin painting, balloon art, spin art and more.

Wayland

Celebrate Korean culture with the Wayland Free Public Library at 12pm on Saturday. Enjoy delicious food, short films and a presentation.

 


Concord

The Playscape at Ripley is hosting its Fall Family Festival at 3pm on Sunday. There will be a petting zoo, pumpkin games, arts and crafts and other activities for all ages.

 


Natick

The Praying Indian Harvest Moon Powwow takes place Saturday from 11am-5pm. Come out for drumming, dancing, storytelling, face painting and more.

 


Acton

The West Acton Oktoberfest is 10am-3pm on Saturday. Enjoy games and activities, music and food all in a lively setting packed with locals and visitors.

 


Winchester

Check out Barktober Fest at Wright-Locke Farm from 11am-3pm on Sunday. Enjoy dog-friendly activities, vendors, face painting and other kids attractions—and don’t forget to bring your pooch (and even your kids…) in costume!

 


Lexington

Lexington’s Harvest Fest is Saturday from 11am-1pm. Stop by for arts, crafts, games and activities. Families should bring a picnic lunch and a blanket or chairs.
