Family Flicks and Fun in the Park featuring the film “Incredibles 2” is Friday from 8:30pm-10:30pm.

Newton

St. Mary of Carmen’s annual carnival and festival is Wednesday through Sunday at Pellegrini Park. Enjoy live music every night, a beer stand and rides and games for kids.

Wellesley

Stop by Weezie’s Garden at the Massachusetts Horticultural Society Saturday from 11:00am-11:30am to enjoy stories, activities and explorative play for families.

Needham

The Needham Farmers’ Market is Sunday at the Needham Town Common from 12:00pm-4:00pm.

Medfield

Explore the great outdoors at the Rocky Woods Reservation in Medfield. Trustees Trekkers Family Hikes is hosting a walk geared toward kids of all ages on Sunday from 11:00am-12:00pm.

Milton

Neponset RiverFest is Saturday from 10:00am-2:00pm. Families should bring a blanket and a picnic lunch and be prepared for a fun-filled day of free kayaking, rock climbing, inflatables, fishing, live music and more.

Concord

The 3rd Annual Music and Art Festival is Saturday at 10:00am. This event hosted by Kimball Farm Lancaster is a combo arts/crafts/music festival with tasty treats and attractions for kids of all ages.

Hingham

Sugar Ray and the Bluetones are putting on a concert under the stars, Saturday from 7:00pm-9:00pm at the South Shore Conservatory. Tickets are $22.50-$45.

Cohasset

The Cohasset Farmer’s Market is Thursday at Cohasset Common from 2:00pm-6:00pm. Enjoy live music while shopping for artisanal baked goods, crafts and local produce.

Belmont

Hear South Shore resident and author Jacqueline Vessid read her book, “Ruby’s Sword,” at 11:00am on Saturday at 79 Leonard Street.
