Visit the Larz Anderson Auto Museum on Sunday to see classic Volkswagen vehicles. The event runs from 9:30am-3:30pm. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children 6-12. You can also tour the museum, home of “America’s Oldest Car Collection.”
Newton
Make a silly slime craft during Lakeshore Learning Center’s free craft session. Get your slime on from 11am-3pm on Saturday. The craft is ideal for ages 3 and up.
Wellesley
The Davis Museum at Wellesley College is offering a free guided “stroller” tour from 11am-11:30am on Saturday. It’s a great opportunity to meet the locals and experience the museum’s collection.
Natick
Take a canoe ride down the Charles River at 8:30am on Saturday. Advance registration is recommended. Canoes, life jackets and paddles will be provided.
Milton
Go on a family owl prowl at the Blue Hills Trailside Museum from 7pm-9pm on Saturday. During the “prowl,” you’ll learn about owls and try to spot a few while you’re out and about. Admission is $10.
Acton
Head to the Discovery Museum for some serious LEGO fun, from 11am-4pm Saturday and Sunday. Admission is required, and includes access to the museum’s hands-on activities for kids.
Weston
Weston High’s Pumpkin Festival is from 12pm-4pm on Saturday on the town green. Swing by for a costume parade, pumpkin carving, face painting and crafts.
Arlington
Make spooky sand art at ArtBeat from 10am-6pm on Saturday. Admission is $15 and families can create spiders, black cats and seasonal art out of sand.
Swampscott
Check out this classic car show in Swampscott from 10am-12pm on Saturday. Come out to see the area and get up close with some one-of-a-kind vintage cars.
