Burn off some energy at Jump n’ Slide’s 3-in-1 playground this weekend. Walk-ins are always welcome and Unlimited Fun Passes are $15. The play space is ideal for ages 1-5.


Learn about Native American culture at the Needham Free Public Library from 2:30pm-3:30pm on Saturday. Larry Spotted Crow Mann will be visiting to tell stories to ages 4+.


Natick’s favorite play place, Jam Time, is bursting with fun for the whole family. Its open play hours on Saturday and Sunday are 9:30am-1:30pm, and kids will love its wooden climbing section, soft infant zone and ride-on toys.


Explore the Blue Hills Trailside Museum in Milton this weekend for some fresh air. It has a history museum, outdoor exhibits and fun attractions for kids, like nature bingo.

Check out the Swampscott Fall Festival on Saturday from 10am-4pm. Another place to snag amazing gifts, home goods and crafts? Made in 01907, a fine artisan fair showcasing handmade items by Swampscott artists and residents.


Paint ceramics at Plaster Fun Time from 10am-7pm on Saturday or 11am-6pm on Sunday. It gets new pieces every Thursday; prices start at $12.95.


Take a family pasta-making class at Duck Soup from 1pm-2pm on Sunday. Admission is $55 and includes one parent-child team. Get tickets.


The Hingham Farmers Market’s season is almost over, so stop by from 9am-1pm on Saturday to shop for seasonal produce and artisanal goods. It’s at Hingham Bathing Beach.


Explore Holly Hill Farm’s free nature trails any time this weekend. A 17th-century working farm on 140 acres in Cohasset, it also sells fresh flowers, eggs, honey, produce and artisanal products.
